Change the GPS coordinates

If the address of a location is incorrectly entered or inaccurate, it may be assigned the wrong GPS coordinate during geocoding. For these and similar cases, the GPS coordinates of a given location can be changed in SolverTech Tasha.

You can change the GPS coordinate in the following ways:

A) Manually change gps coordinates in the location tab

• enter the address into the map browser (mapy.cz, Google Maps…)
• copy the found GPS (we can put it together including the letters)
• paste the copied value into the column "YX" in the locations tab (if the column is not visible, pull it up via the "Select Columns"
• update the distance matrix with the button "Update"
  

Note: it is also possible to overwrite X and Y values directly by editing the cell

B) Correcting the address in the address field and geocoding the new address

• fix the address in the locations tab
• geocode the new address using the right button
• update the distance matrix with the button "Update"

C) via "Move to location"

• in the locations tab, right-click in the table and select "Show map"
• select the place you want to move in the table or directly on the map (the selected location will change colour from blue to purple on the map)
• select a new position for the location by right-clicking on it in the map and selecting "Move to location".
• update the distance matrix with the "Update&quot button;
