They will limit the maximal number of vehicles, that can be loading in one location at the same time.
How to set it up:
Jobs have both from and to stops in use. Both locations are not virtual. Precedence on both ends is 2 and higher.
Jobs from duration is 0. The loading time in the depot is governed by the redispatch time on the vehicle.
Add a dynamic column in the Locations, that allows the LoadingBaysCount field to be edited.
Vehicles must have:
- Fixed time set to true
- Redispatch time set to a value higher then 0
- Must not have Ignore loading bays set to true
Note:
- The earliest start of the loading intervals in the depot, that is limited by the loading bays, is governed the earliest start time of all the available vehicles. After X vehicles are loaded (where X is the number of loading bays) the loading continues with next interval. The length of the interval is set by the "Redispatch time" field on the vehicle.
- Example: The earliest vehicle start time is at 6:00, redispatch time is 30 minutes. Vehicles will thus leave in intervals 6:00, 6:30 etc.
- If we have vehicles, that have for example start time set to 6:15, they will start loading the vehicle at 6:30 at the earliest.
