Cost per job

  • There are multiple metrics to measure with different results
  • Please try to define the load to order as you perceive and want to measure it, then we will select the metric that will be most suitable for you

Starfish cost

  • On a given line, the distance from the depot is taken for each job
  • The sum of these distances is 100% of the route price
  • We then divide the price proportionally between the individual jobs
  • It's easy to see because the sum of the costs of all jobs equals the cost of the route

Marginal cost

  • Determined by unloading jobs from a given route and evaluating how much cheaper the route is without the job
  • Jobs that are on route are cheaper, those that have to be driven to are more expensive
  • Disadvantage the sum of the costs for each job is not the sum of the costs for the route

Efficiency parameter

  • Wholesale stores have a set limit of 5% of turnover for transport costs
