Don't have a GPS coordinate field in your customer database? No problem. You do not need to extend the structure of your existing database, the necessary fields can be added and managed directly in TASHA.

In general, it is used to store the necessary data linked to a specific customer according to the "id". The distribution DB is used by those customers who do not want or cannot store the data needed for distribution in their own customer database. Processing the optimal distribution of goods means working with a lot of information for a given customer location, which is often not part of our customer database.

The most important ones are:

  • GPS coordinates X and Y.
  • Delivery time (from when to when the goods can be deposited / picked up).

Other important information may include:

  • Estimated time spent at the stop (can be fixed or dynamically entered according to the actual quantity of goods to be stacked).
  • Preference for service by a certain type of vehicle/driver.

If the ERP warehouse or ordering system in use does not allow adding this information to the customer card, we create a parallel database with the above information, which is then automatically linked to the existing database. This procedure is almost always used at the beginning of an implementation, where our customer does not bear the cost of modifying the existing database and can only decide after they have verified that the TASHA system actually saves shipping costs.
